I have been asked what is CIRCUIT CLASS?
Great question, this style of class is all about intervals that are done for 1 minute at each exercise station. Why this class is important to each of us, is that we target small and big muscle groups at the same time to get the most of our workout. This style of cross training as been proven to improve your strength and get results. We use hand held weights and other tools to achieve the most we can from our bodies on this day. In addition this class is for EVERYONE, because only one person is at a station at a time you can go at your own pace and feel success. COME AND TRY IT!!!
Bring your water and wear regular workout clothes.
What about HOT YOGA??
Is the practice of yoga postures in a room that is heated. Heat aids the stretching process while challenging the focus of the mind, enhancing the transformational experience of yoga. Hot yoga is becoming very popularized by 2 main styles of hatha yoga: Vinyasa yoga, a flowing series of postures, and Bikram Method yoga, a set series of static asanas(poses.) We will do a mix of both inspired styles in our classes.
Let's get our SWEAT ON!!! Be prepared to sweat and detoxify your bodies and minds.
It does take a couple of classes to see how it feels and please be patient with yourself. Please tell myself or your instructor if this is your 1st Hot Yoga class or if it has been a while. If your expecting in your 1st trimester heat is not recommended.
What to bring: WATER, Yoga mat, yoga towel, change of clothes.
Yes, we have changing rooms -provided with plastic bags to put your wet clothes in afterwards.
Before you practice try to:
~Be hydrated: drink plenty of water during your day - too much water before class may not feel the best during class - be mindful.
~Try not to eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of your practice - if your stomach is empty or close to usually feels better.
~No cell phones in the yoga studio, make all your calls before class ~ this in turn will help your centering yourself by taking a few minutes to be still and feel your breath, allowing yourself to be PRESENT!!!
See you soon,
Namaste'
